About Southern Bend Books

Opening a new book is making a discovery — of a new story, new characters, unexplored feelings, or of new skills and opportunities. Books are color-blind. They don’t care how much money you make or how many friends you have or if you have the latest Vera Bradley purse. You can hold a book up and let others see what you are reading, or you can keep it a secret on your phone or e-reader. Books can teach us how to dream or how to apply makeup. Books can be a comforting friend or a terrifying enemy that keeps us awake at night. Books can lead you to a new job, home, or partner. Books can help you raise your kids the right way and help them fall asleep at night.

What would we do without books?

Books should be affordable and available to everyone. You shouldn’t have to chose between a new pair of shoes and a great thriller or self-help book.

Southern Bend Books is a micro press started by a stay-at-home mom who uses books and writing to escape every now and then. We publish quality fiction and nonfiction ebooks that cost less than $10. We try to keep our books under $5 whenever possible, and we offer freebies as well.

Feel free to follow us, so that you’ll get the latest updates on new books and book offers. And, whatever you do…keep reading.
